This well-maintained course is very player friendly, with very wide fairways that are lined with large pine, birch, and Douglas fur trees. The greens on this course are very fast, with water hazards that come into play on two holes. This very scenic course sits right on the shores of Kootenay Lake, nestled on top of a wooded plateau above the Balfour Ferry Landing, the location of the longest free ferry ride in the world. There is an additional set of tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.

| This course has actually expanded to 18 holes. It is a beautiful walk that plays very fair for any calibre player. We noted the excellent condition from tee through green, even the sand was fun! A "must play". |
