This mature course is located on the banks of the Assiniboine River. Water comes into play on half of the holes, four from the river, two from ponds, and three from a small creek flowing through the course. The older-style front nine holes are located on the flats of the river and the back nine holes have elevation changes. The fairways are wide and defined by trees with deep rough, measuring two and a half inches in the second cut. The scenic signature hole is #7, a 470-yard, par 5, which features an undulating green and a fairway protected by a pond and a river that follows along the fairway.
