This course is longer than other courses in the area and fairly difficult. Water comes into play on five holes. The fairways are well bunkered, tree lined on the back nine and open on the front. The greens are medium-sized with some undulation. The signature hole is #14, a 383-yard, par 4, requiring a well-placed tee shot over water onto a large landing area. If the ball is hit long the tree-lined fairway narrows. Bunkers also guard the left and front of the green and trees guard the right. William G. and John F. Robinson also designed the back nine, which opened in 1984.
