This private club originally opened with twenty-seven holes, but another nine was added in 1994, expanding the facility into two eighteen hole courses. The original Green Course features a heavy population of mature trees and extremely difficult, undulating greens. During the 1997 Canadian Open, a pro-am tournament was played here and some of the professionals participating included Tom Kite, Craig Stadler and Corey Pavin. The course personnel stated the pros found the greens difficult, but had a lot of fun with the challenge. The signature hole is #18, a 500-yard, par 5, requiring an uphill journey to the most difficult green on the course. It is sloped back to front and very fast. The Blue Course is a combination of old and new. The front nine holes are the old style with numerous mature trees requiring accurate ball placement. The back nine is fairly open with young trees bordering the holes. The greens are not as challenging on the Blue Course. The signature hole is #18, a long 456-yard, par 4, which plays downhill. It's tough to reach the green in two shots, so birdies are rare. This is a private club and in order to play you must be accompanied by a member.
