This course weaves its way through a natural terrain. Your golfing experience is enhanced by spectacular viewpoints of the lakes, the perfectly manicured fairways and the greens. During the round you will reach for every club in your bag. The signature hole is #7, a 508-yard, par 5, which encourages your tee shot to cut off as much water as possible, allowing you to easily get home in two shots. | This course was superbly manicured, from tee box to green, not a strand of grass out of place. The fairways are crisp and green, a dream to play off of, if you can hit the fairway. It's intricate design with many hidden greens, and twisting fairways. This course has some nasty hazards, the rough is watered and left uncut allowing it to get long and tough, if you hit a ball into this grass you will find 3 balls and none will be yours. Sand traps are deep and soft, making any shoot out of the sand a challenge. The greens are large, and many are 2 tiered with lots of slop, and the pin locations, are difficult and well placed. The practice facilities are excellent with 2 large practice greens, allowing you your own space to practice and the driving range is awesome hitting into the pond allows you to see exactly where your ball went. The club house facilities are very nice, with a lounge and a more upscale restaurant (ties are required) with excellent food and are large of assortment, drinks and a excellent wine list. The locker rooms are very nice with personal oak lockers, showers, Jacuzzi and steam bath all add to this wonder facility. |
