This course incorporated the natural prairie setting into the design. The course features flat, sparsely-treed fairways and a variety of different-sized, slightly undulating greens. Strategically-placed ponds affect play on six of the nine holes. The signature hole is #9, a 321-yard, par 4, with a dogleg right fairway. Your decision from the tee box is whether to try and cut the corner or lay-up, both of which have hazards. Accurate ball placement is paramount on this hole due to water, out-of-bounds and a green tucked away behind trees near the water.
