This course is located near the North Dakota border next to the Deloraine Dam on hilly terrain. The fairways are well treed and they are in the process of narrowing them with rough growth. The greens are undergoing a renovation, two of them have been completed. There is an abundance of wildlife in the area. Water comes into play on two of the eighteen holes.

| This course, which is a par 36 9 hole course, is one of the best courses in southwest mb. and in due time will be even nicer. The first hole, which is a 144yd par 3, plays significantly downhill to a slightly domed green. The green is in a beautifully treed area. The second hole, and 407yd par 4, plays slighty uphill for the first 250yds, then levels off to the green. The tee is in the same woods as #1 green. The green is tricky and slopes back to front. #3 is a 370yd dogleg right par 4. Water is in play off the tee and behind the green. The fairways from #3 to #6 are fairly open due to the course being on the flats. #3 green is large and fairly flat. #4 is a 402yd par 4 dogleg right. Water is to the right, and there are 2 valleys the player must clear if they want to make par. The green is fairly small and rather flat. #5 is a 576yd par 5. The fairway is slightly downhill, then a slightly uphill in the last 150yds. The green is large and rather contoured. #6 is a 309yd par 4, playing down a hill at 150yds, then leveling out. The green is the toughest on the course, sloping sharply back-left to front-right. There is close to 4ft. difference in front to back. #7 is a 370yd par 4 which plays into the valley that #1 plays into. The green is at the top of the valley, and is protected by trees on the left and back right, and a wall at the front. #8 is a 375yd par 4, which depending on the tee, the green can be blind. It is a "wavy" hole with a large green, sloping back left to front right. #9 is a 368yd par 4, playing slightly uphill. The green is large, sloping slightly front to back. The clubhouse is licensed, and the meals are very good. Cart rentals are available. I highly advise anyone in southwestern Manitoba to come play this beautiful course. |
