This scenic course is filled with several trees and hills. The fairways are dogleg configurations and many are rolling. The greens are primarily flat, but a few do have undulation. Water hazards and bunkers also provide a challenge. The toughest hole is #7, a 420-yard, par 4, which plays to a dogleg left fairway with out-of-bounds on the right. The undulating green is difficult to read. Gander Golf Club was expanded to 18-holes in the spring of 2001.
