This shotmaker's course has narrow landing areas on the fairways, many of which dogleg to the right or left. The head professional stated that a well-placed tee shot is essential for a low scoring round. The large greens are well bunkered. There are strategically-placed lakes affecting play on eight holes. The terrain is relatively flat, which lends itself to an easy walk. There is a heavy population of maple, cedar and pine trees, hence the name Golf Du Boise, which translates to "wooded area." The signature hole is #18, a 547-yard, par 5, requiring a tee shot onto a dogleg left fairway, and an approach shot to a large island green, which is further protected with a couple of sand bunkers. Wind is a primary factor on this hole, so take it into consideration during club selection. There is a nine hole green fee rate available after 4 PM.
