This club, located in a rural area near the banks of the Red River, features flat, well-treed fairways and fast, well-maintained greens, which gives credence to the course's motto, "The Best Greens in Manitoba." A particularly challenging hole is #18, a 522-yard, par 5, requiring a tee shot over a dogleg right fairway onto a landing area flanked by sand bunkers. There is a second dogleg fairway that must be maneuvered on the approach shot to the well-bunkered green. Strategically-placed water hazards affect play on ten holes.

Wow, a great scottish like golf coarse, Apr 09, 2005

| When I first went to this close to the city coarse I was impressed! It reminded me of a Scottish coarse. The greens were green and it looked like a park. Some holes were challenging but there were easy to manage though. The landscape of the near by is beautiful. The Red River is close by while the coarse has many water fountains. |
