This challenging course's terrain on the front nine holes is rather hilly, whereas the back nine is much flatter. Most of the greens are very large in size and undulating, making calculated putting important. The signature hole is #14, a 180-yard, par 3, which requires a tee shot over a small ravine to a medium-sized green.

Ledgeview The Worst Place I have ever been, Apr 30, 2005
reviewer: Mr. Johnathan Beil from Vancouver, Canada
Well, I have been golfing in canada for the past 25 years. I have never been to a place like "ledgeview". We first arrived an hour early and wanted to eat something in the restaurant, the manager there "TIM" was very rude to use and did not seem to know what he was doing with the computer system they used? Although the food was late and cold we were not offered a discount or refund... we were just told that they were busy. At that moment, the President of the club, a Mr "John Hambley" entered the picture. Well I would rather of dealt with "TIM" and be told that we were out of luck. Mr Hambley went on about how he was changing the club and "HE" was going to make the restaurant a destination eatery. Well, I said to him that he should start with cusotmer service and food quality because I would never return again as a result of this experience with him and the restaurant staff. Trying to start on a new foot we went down stairs to the Pro Shop and we met by the Head Golf Pro "Brent". We checked in and we told that we did not have a tee time, because we had been bumped as a result of an error in booking us in the middle of Men's league!! Although the took my phone number when we booked we were not told of any problems or even contacted to let us know they had made an error. At this point I asked to speak to the manager, I was told that they did not have one and the Board of Directors were "running things". The course was average at best and when we finally got to play the course, 3 hours late, the greens were average at best. A new constructed pond on hole # 8 looked like a parking lot. I was looking forward to playing their "siganture hole" that was advertised in their promotions. We took 5 1/2 hours to play and there were no marshalls on the course. Overall probably the worst experience I have ever had. I can honestly say that I will not recommend the course, restaurant or proshop to anyone who would like to enjoy there golf experience. LEDGEVIEW DOES NOT CARE ABOUT IT"S CUSTOMERS!! You have been warned.
