This scenic course is located just north of Downtown Moncton. The entire course runs in a rectangular fashion, ending up back where you started. Trees line both sides of the fairways, and holes #2 and #14 have dogleg configurations. Three large ponds and two smaller ponds also come into play. The two toughest holes are #17 and #18. Each requires a carry over large ponds to reach the green. Most of the greens in the design are flat with little undulation.

For a beginner this is a wicked course to learn on. The fairways on the front 9 are all very forgiving and the back 9 is actually a very interesting set of holes with all kinds of dsision making and imagination involved in playing.
There's no pond to carry over on hole 18 like the description implies but its a monster of a par weighing in at 565 yards and there is a creek right about the area where your first shot will land. |
