This course incorporates the seldom seen undulating terrain of Manitoba. The narrow fairways are densely populated with trees, water and bunkers, necessitating accurate tee shots for low scoring. Your putting skills will be put to the test by the very large, undulating greens. The scenic signature hole is #8, a 197-yard, par 3, offering a spectacular view of the course and its dramatic elevation changes from the tee. There is a creek flowing through the course affecting play on six holes, and two other holes require shots over ponds.

| Minnewasta is not a typical prairies course. It is located in the Pembina Valley which allows for large elevation changes and undulating greens. While the clubhouse leaves much to be desired, the course is in my top 5 in Manitoba. |

| I grew up golfing on this course and I have to admit I count myself truly spoiled when I play other courses. Not only is the course challenging, but it's very scenic and well maintained. You'd be hard pressed to find another course that offers so much for such a small town. I look forward to the next chance I have to play at Minnewasta |
