This course is situated in a rolling valley with one-hundred-year-old towering oak trees and thirty- to forty-foot elevation changes. You will be enticed by Netley Creek's natural beauty, as well as its surrounding wildlife. The course has a natural fifty- to seventy-foot-wide spring creek that meanders throughout the fairways and must be crossed four times. It also creates a semi-island green on hole #9, a 168-yard, par 3. This not only provides scenic pleasure, but adds challenge and variety to the course and its play. All of the tees and undulating greens are elevated, and the fairways are fully irrigated. The natural drainage and rolling hills allow play to quickly resume after one of the area's downpours. Since the course opened, there have been six golfers who've aced at least one hole. There is a master-plan underway to expand to an eighteen hole facility, and add cross-country skiing and nature trails. The projected completion date for the additional nine holes is slated for 2000.

A Jewel in the Valley!, Mar 11, 2005
reviewer: Still Hoping for a Ace from Winnipeg, Canada
The info on this site is old and needs to be updated. For more info visit their web site at www.netleycreekgolf.mb.ca They have a huge site with lots of info Hole by Hole layout, pictures and pro tips. It helped me before I played. This is a Challenging Champion 18 Hole course well worth the money. If you have a bad hook or slice bring lots of balls. Lots of elevation changes which is surprizing for the Interlake, and lots of natural and man made water hazards, Which I Love! Only 25 min North of Winnipeg, well worth the trip to get away from the big city and see lots of wildlife at the same time. My friend shot his first Ace there so there is still hope for me. Every time I return there has been some kind of change or upgrade to this place, very friendly and well groomed. Don't always shoot a good score, but I still enjoy it!

Back nine is very tough. Long and narrow. Bring all 14 clubs because you'll need them.
