| While the majority of the fairways are generous, you will find the wind affecting seemingly perfectly struck shots, especially along the river side holes. Most of the fairways are tree lined. The greens are small and undulating, and require a good touch and a good read. If you want to fly the ball onto these small surfaces a high soft landing shot is a must, otherwise the Scottish bump and run is another good shot to attack the pin. Selkirk Golf & Country Club will offer the experienced golfer an honest and fair test of their skills, and provide the novice and intermediate golfers with oppoutunity to make the occasional birdie. I doubt you will find any dissapointment with the course or the green fees. |
