This course is unique in that it is located on a working sheep ranch that dates back to 1858. Each morning the sheep are let out of their holding area and allowed to wander around the course. Needless to say, this results in an incredible amount of feces deposited on greens and fairways. Due to this condition you are given a one-half club length relief from every unplayable lie in which you will find your ball. The fairways are sloped in this mountainous terrain and the undulating greens are small. There are creeks and ponds affecting play on five of the nine holes.
