This is a very picturesque regulation course that is situated in a river valley surrounded by forestry. Many mature trees surround the golf course. The front nine was added a few years after the original nine opened and is laid out links-style. Two large ponds come into play on eight of the front nine holes and a river comes into play on four holes on the back side. The signature hole is the #3, a 418-yard, par 4, in which the last half of the fairway turns sharply uphill to an elevated green that stands more than eighty feet higher than the tee box.
