This course was built in 1892 and is the oldest in Manitoba. The design includes wide fairways and sloped greens that are quite fast. There are mature trees in addition to newly planted ones all around the course. In the past, there have been redesigns and there are ongoing programs to keep the course current with the times. The signature hole is #9, a 400-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot to a dogleg right fairway flanked on the right with heavy scrub. There is a creek flowing through the course affecting play on three holes.
