The terrain is flat, sparsely treed and quite easy to walk. The greens on the original nine are small and flat, while the greens on the newer holes are large and undulating. The challenge of the course are the eight water hazards and the bunkered greens. The signature hole is #9, a 347-yard, par 4, requiring a straight tee shot, then an accurate approach shot to an undulating green that is nearly surrounded by water.
