This course is located on the banks of the Red River and features flat fairways with out-of-bounds on nearly half of the holes. The greens are average-sized and undulating. The signature hole is #9, a long 235-yard, par 3, requiring the tee shot to carry over a bunker in front of the green. Water comes into play on two of the eighteen holes. There is an additional set of tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round. Other amenities at the site include tennis, racquet ball, weight room, and a pool.

| This is a short course, one step up from the par 3s. Generally in decent enough condition, short par 4s, and one quite short par 5. Quite a few hazards, enjoyable for a day out for novice/beginner golfers. Generally not busy and is good for juniors and those struggling with hitting the fairways. Is one of the best 9 hole courses of its type. |

| If you are looking for a challenging golf course, keep on looking. The Canoe Club is an excellent site for novice golfers and those trying to hone their skills. With plenty of hazards it is plenty difficult for a golfer who has an average round of 80. And its a 9 hole course. |
