Course Description	This hilly course will provide many uphill or downhill lies, particularly on the front nine. The course design includes many changes in elevation. You get the feel for this course real quick because hole #1 is a 565-yard, par 5, which plays downhill all the way. A long hitter can reach the green in two by cutting the corner over the sand bunkers and trees, then getting a long roll down the hill to set up the approach shot. Hole #3, a 413-yard, par 4, also gives you a feel for the elevation changes. From the men's tee you have about a forty-foot drop to the fairway. A word of caution on this hole; be sure the ladies' tee is clear. You can't see this tee from off the men's tee box. The greens and bunkers on the course are large, in the traditional Robert Trent Jones, Sr. style. Water hazards (ponds) come into play at least seven times. If you are a SCGA member, the green fee is reduced for weekday and weekend play; you can call ten days in advance for tee times.
