Course Description	This resort offers three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. These courses, which are located along the Delaware River and feature many water hazards incorporated into the designs, represent Tillinghast's first effort as a golf course designer. Every hole is distinct, but the courses play basically the same. Twenty-four of the twenty-seven holes are situated on an island. Each course is represented by some tree-lined fairways or links-style holes featuring numerous sand bunkers. The signature hole for the Blue Course is #7, a 177-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water from the island to the mainland green. The terrain on each course is relatively flat, but walking is not permitted. This resort, which underwent a $2.5 million overhaul in 1997, was the site of the 1967 NCAA and 1938 PGA Championships. There are no nine hole rates available on weekends.
