| Pawnee Municipal Golf Course -- Nice course gone very bad |

I began playing the Pawnee Municipal Golf Course around 20 years ago. It has always been what my friends and I call "pasture pool" but the course had always been well maintained and I had never known them to lose a green. I played there for the first time this year on September 19 and the course was in the worst shape I have ever seen. The course was only mowed sporadically, the brush was overgrown everywhere, and they had lost every one of the nine greens. I was very sad to see how the course had gone down so very much in a very short time. I doubt that I'll be making the trip from Tulsa to Pawnee for golf again anytime in the near future.
