Additional Golf Course Reviews:
Dairy Creek Golf Course -- Above-average muni course, short but heavily slopped.
Review by: Rob Weeks Normally maintained in a very playable condition, but beware of late summer when local weather leads to much drier conditions. When this happens it can be impossible to keep the ball in the fairway because of the slope regardless of where your tee shot lands. Afternoons can also be very windy at this location. This is a fairly young course without much in the way of trees, so almost any location on most holes is playable - it is difficult to get into any real trouble and therefore a great course for higher handicap players, the only exception being the environmentally protected areas which are out of bounds. The course is a bit short, even from the blue tees. Low handicap golfers can find themselves with several eagle putts during their round. Greens are normally in good shape, typical speed for a muni course, but the breaks can be very deceiving. They break toward the canyons regardless of how they might appear to breaking.
