Ainsworth Municipal Golf Course -- fast and fun
Review by: Scott Keep the ball in the fairway is the trick here. Fairways are fast and the rough is light colored brush which makes finding your ball tough. Overall a fun challenging golf course.

Holmes Park Golf Course -- A nice course
Review by: gcbc In my opinion, probably the third best of the four municipal courses in Lincoln, behind Highlands and Pioneers. The front nine is very basic, moderate length, fairly straight. The greatest challenge of this course could be that you rarely will have a flat lie, as most of the fairways slope one way or another, especially on the front. The ninth is a tough finish, a 240 yd uphill par 3. The back nine is more challenging with water coming into play and a couple par 4s where the driver is best left in the bag. Overall, a well-maintained, enjoyable course. Not very quiet, though, with two busy streets passing by the course.
