North Park Golf Course -- *Great Public Course*
Review by: XL	You must take into consideration this is a course run and maintained by County government so it's maintenance is not what it should be. Aside from that it is a great course. It is long, very challenging, fairly wide open and hilly. It's also a very pretty course. You would be hard pressed to find any course in a comparable price range that is this nice with such a beautiful layout. This course gets a lot of play during the week from senior citizens ( they get yearly permits ) but on Friday thru Sunday it is not crowded.

Rose Ridge Golf Course -- *Dumpy, but quaint*
Review by: slim	I golf at Rose Ridge once each year. The staff there are very nice. The club house is more like a garage than a club house. The course is flat, and really gets trampled down and hard during the peak season.

Antelope Hills Golf Course
"Diamond in the rough"
In July, 2003 I had the chance to try out this little 9 hole course and I was very satisfied with my experience. The fairways were in tremendous condition and the greens offered a perfect putting surface. We could hear the coyotes howling as we started our round in the morning. The peacefulness alone (my wife and I were the only people on the course) was worth the price of green fees. The green fees, by the way, are very reasonable. The scenery from the first tee is spectacular, especially if you glance to the west. If you're looking for a tough challenge, this isn't the course for you. The course is not too challenging but is a perfect stop if you're a beginner or coming out of Yellowstone and want to just relax on the course. It's very wide open so you shouldn't lose any balls. My wife is a beginner golfer and had a very enjoyable round. Everything is well-maintained and we found the staff to be courteous and friendly. I plan on returning to play this course again and I highly recommend you give it a try. Definitely a course to walk (not ride) to get the full enjoyment.

High Ridge Country Club
"Breathtaking"
This very exclusive club is one of the best i've ever played on. Not excessively long, but very challenging. The course was in impeccable shape, and 16 of the 18 holes could be signature holes. If you ever get a chance to play this beatiful track, jump at it.

Glen Garden Golf & Country Club
"History"
Glen Garden is a great place for Golfers of all ages. Playing on the course, it is easy to see how it produced such greats as Hogan and Nelson. They have the classic postage stamp greens. You must be accurate with your approach shot or you will miss the green. It is a great course for beginners as there are relatively few holes where a bad shot will lose your ball. The pace of play is very relaxed and the course staff are over the top friendly. The only down side to Glen Garden is that when it was built it was out in the country (1912?). In the 1950's Fort Worth grew and houses went up all around the course. Unfortunately these houses we small wooden houses and over the years it has become the bad side of town. There have been huge efforts by the local population over the last ten years to clean things up but it will take time. I highly recommend a visit to Glen Garden for any golfer. If you have an interest in history you will find it fantastic to consider you are walking on holy grounds.

Arroyo Seco Golf Course
"L.A Bargain"
For a 3-Par, greens and fairways are well maintained despite the quantity of play. Surprising number of amenties such as; large putting green, practice sand and chipping areas. Great driving range adjacent to a full restaurant and bar. Friendly with no local attitude.
