Amesbury Golf & Country Club

Featured Golf Course Review:
Amesbury Golf & Country Club -- A nice place to play
Review by: Todd The fairways and greens are well maintained. It is never too crowded. Great course for the money. I look forward to my next 9 holes there.

Northampton Country Club -- Flat, boring course in poor condition
Review by: Chris Peabody This 9-hole course is essentially a flat open field divided into 7 boring parallel narrow holes. Only 2 holes deviate -- the fourth that winds its way up a dogleg right through a condominium complex and the fifth that crosses the back of the condos. The conditions are poor, even in the peak of summer, with half filled in greens, poorly-mowed fairways and swampy areas that never seem to drain. You'd be better off golfing at some of the munis in the area, like Cherry Hill in Amherst or the Ledges in South Hadley. Nice clubhouse with good staff, however.
