Chambers County Golf Course

Chambers County Golf Course -- Excellent course
Review by: R. Rose This course was cut from the woods and swamps around Anahuac and it is a very good course. It has some challenging holes and I keep going back. Currently the pro is Hal Underwood who played on the Tour many years ago and seems very sincere when he tells you he appreciates you playing. The course is owned by the county and is maintained very well.

Golf Club of Fossil Creek -- Real Golf. Real People. Real Fun
Review by: Alan Davis We played Fossil Creek a couple days ago and to say our experience was enjoyable would be a huge understatement. We booked a small group (6 players) in the early morning. We arrived to a friendly valet that knew our name and our tee time. How did he know that? We asked oursleves as we parked the car. Anyways, the service we received was execptional, the facility was in good shape. Not great (greens wise), but nothing that would make a 12 handicapper concerned. Fairways, good, bunkers good, tee boxes...check. Beverage cart service had to be the best that we've experienced. May have been the cutiest, but nothings wrong with a good looking cart girl to smile at you every 3-4 holes!!!!
