The course is fair with challenges for all types of golfers. The turfgrass is among the best I have played. Improvements to the course (new bunkers, mounds, lakes) have toughened play, but offers plenty of rewards for conservative play. The course provides opportunity to fade, draw, or hit it straight, with premium on being able to shape all shots. Course can be "beat" with exceptional shots, but mishits will put you in plenty of trouble. Water on seven holes challenges and lengthens for the conservative golfer. But a short cut will be rewarded if stay out of trouble. Greens are in great shape, with subtle undulations putts that "go to the water".
Located far enough from the "city" to be country , with country price, but close enough to easily serve all of Collin and Grayson Counties, plus Denton, Dallas Counties. The initiation fee, monthly dues, cart fees, etc. are the best buy in town... |
