Trails End Golf Course -- review
Review by: anonymous THis is a very hilly course that requires some luck. The front nine can be very challenging but are fun. The back nine however is a different story. #13 is a monster. #14 is almost as bad. Bring some extra balls just in case.

La Canada Flintridge Country Club -- Nice little course
Review by: Anonymous The course is short but hilly and tight so most golfers find it challenging. Greens are usually in excellent shape. The front nine and back nine are almost completely different courses, with the back being very hilly with narrow fairways and several elevated tees. Best holes on the front nine are 2, 6 (a 5 par), and 7. Number 7 would be a great hole on any course; 190 yard par three from the blue tees shooting across a huge ravine. Best holes on the back are 12, 13 and 17. Course management is key to this course; need to really think about risk/reward of using a driver on several holes due to the narrow fairways. No driving range but nice little practice area. Friendly members. Usually can play a round in three to three and a half hours. You will likely see deer, and watch out for rattlesnakes in the heat of the summer. Great views of Pasadena, the Rose Bowl and downtown LA.
