Buncombe County Municipal Golf Course -- *Playable in a pinch*
Review by: Arnold Buncolme	This is a nice short Donald Ross course that is inexpensive. The front nine is generally uninspired, although I like the 8th hole, a 150 yard par 3 with an elevated green. The back nine is more interesting as it features more vertical terrain. The course is fairly well maintained, and the clubhouse is very nice.

Review by: Brian	Have played plenty of times, and always enjoy the course. Nice staff, and good greens. This course is usually in good condition and moves at a fast pace. This course is not a up scale course, but a good course for the price.

Springville Country Club
"Best Course in WNY"
Not an overly long course, it rewards accuracy off the tee and penalizes errant strokes. The greens are fast and true, and generally break less than one would imagine. The front nine is deceptive, punishing anyone who strays off the tree-lined fairways. The back nine can be attacked, but the sightlines off the tees can intimidate the first time player. Use long irons from the tee to keep the ball in play(only if they are are a strength in your game), and you will be surprised with the result. Putting is the primary key to scoring on this picturesque layout.

Rainier Golf & Country Club
"One of the best In Seattle area"
Rainier Golf has everything for the family. Nice greens, beautiful fairways, ponds, and a great crew that takes care of it. It has an older clubhouse with French stying. Ron Proctor the last Superintendent, drove the course into a new direction by rebuiding all of the fairways, adding six to twelve inches of sand, drainage, and training the best crew to care for it. He kept up on new mowers, bringing high quality, cutting edge practices into the day to day maint. of the course. Rainier golf is worth the money. All done through two generations of golf Superintendent know how. Rainier is a links style layout, and challenging for everyone.

This course requires all the clubs in your bag yet does not require a 300 yard drive to play. Would recomment it to anyone for an enjoyable round of golf

"Coventry Pines Public Golf Course"
Similar to Augusta National, this reserved golf course offers extreme challenges for all competitors. It includes hair-raising sandbunkers and water hazards, as well as breath-taking scenery. You haven't golfed until you've played at Coventry Pines.
