Hanover Country Club -- Tougher than you think
Review by: Anonymous I'm a member and am always amused when newcomers show up and see the short yardage the course plays. They think it'll be a push over and immediately go to the back tees. If you spray your shots, you're going to score a big number. The scenery on the course is very nice, especially in the fall. The course has produced a ladies and mens state champion so there must be some merit to knowing where your shots are headed. It is a very enjoyable afternoon of golf in the countryside of Hanover County Virginia. Its surrounded by homes, farms, and the South Anna River.

Fredericksburg Country Club -- could be better
Review by: John Doe The course is easy to play. Not very challenging but quite entertaining. The Rappohanock adds to its allure and I have never seen the green in bad condition. The service of the workers however could use some work. The course is not worth $50 but definatly $30 tops.
