Indian Hills Golf & Country Club -- Quiet and cghallenging
Review by: M Parsons This course is in great shape this year. (2004) It is pretty wide open on the front nine and very challenging on the back nine. The new nine holes were just opened in the summer of 2002 and are just now becoming mature. The fairways are watered on the new nine holes and the greens vary from fast to undulating. The newer greens are all made to USGA specifications. The sand traps have were just redone last fall and are raked daily. This is a great course set in a country setting. Anyone wanting to enjoy a quiet, relaxing day of golf would surely enjoy this course. It is inexpensive and has some great rate specials this year. You can golf for as low as $10.00 a round without cart. It is worth a trip to Southeast Iowa to experience this course. This course has a cliff hole, an uphill hole , many target holes, a water hole, and a variety of challenging, but negotiable holes. I am sure you will enjoy this course.

Golfable Golf Quote of the Day:
" We speak of eyeball-to-eyeball encounters between men great and small. Even more reaching and revealing of character is the eyeball-to-golfball confrontation, whereby our most secret natures are mercilessly tested by a small, round, whitish object with no mind or will but with a very definite life of its own, and with whims perverse and beatific. -John Stewart Martin "
