I was impressed from the first time that I played your course that the cleanliness of the course can be seen from tee to green. The fairways are kept in playable condition and the greens offer the average golfer fairness with definate challenge. The back nine requires a course management that can challenge golfers at all levels. If you don't think your way through the 18 holes than you will probably not enjoy this course. It is not your average public course where you can bang away and have an open shot wherever you land.
If you think your way around this course, even the average golfer can improve their handicap.
The staff is very pleasant and helpful.
This course is not a (1) star rated course! It is a (4) star minimum!!!

Penninsula State Park Golf Course possesses one of the most beautiful views of any course I have played. An aerial view of the Sister Bay harbor is visible from most parts of the course. Playing this fun yet challenging course is best in early fall when the trees change colors. Greens fees are inexpensive and the club house has a very tasty little restaurant where you get lots of good food for your money. Unfortunately, it is a state park, so no cart girls. :( Check it out next time you head to Door County! |
