Deer Run is a good example of a decent golf course that has been built in a residential community. About 35 minutes from downtown Mpls, the course is in great shape and features a lot of terrain changes.
Houses aren't too close, but they are always present...not the course for you if you don't want to see houses.
Driving range is so-so, small and mats. Pace of play was good...I wouldn't walk this one. Was able to get a late morning tee time on a Saturday with one days notice, through the web. |
