I had heard good things about this course, until I went there to see for myself. The greens are average and the fairways are sloppy and in bad shape. That is nothing compared to the rudeness of the people there, workers and golfers alike. If you want southern hospitality, you have come to the wrong place. |

The past few years my golfing buddies and I all look forward to our trip to Baneberry. Sure the lodging isn't the Waldorf but I'm not going there to sit in the room all day. My buddies and I are high handicappers and this course is tough but also very fun for all of us. We love it. The people are great and the play moves fast. You simply cannot beat the price! Once again, if you are looking for Augusta National, this isn't it. If you are looking for a great week with friends and a tough little course to play you can't beat it! We have traveled all over the southeast playing at "resorts" and Baneberry has become our favorite by far. |
