Nemacolin Country Club

Featured Golf Course Review:
Nemacolin Country Club -- nice club
Review by: Brad Great course with light traffic... NEVER rushed and course rarely backs up. Greens are lightning fast and course knowledge is a premium as some mishits in certain locations can penalize severely. Great staff and course is normally in great shape. Course is pretty wide open with narrow fairways and the rough can sometimes be VERY hard to hit from depending on the cut at the time.

Mound Grove Golf & Recreation -- could be so much better
Review by: David Mound Grove is no 5-star course. The greens are bumpy, the tee boxes are not kept up and the pace of play is frustratingly slow. I played the front 9 when it first opened, and it hasn't improved at all with age. It is a difficult course, especially 4,5,6 and the entire back 9, which was wedged into a tight fit. No. 5 is a narrow, severe dogleg right where you must hit an iron if you hit the ball well at all. Mound Grove would be a 3-star course if it was kept in better condition and the pace of pay was a bit quicker. It has taken me three hours to play the front nine!
