Chief at Sky Lodge Golf Course, The -- Bring it on!
Review by: Golfer Jim The Chief is perhaps the most challenging course I have played in northern Michigan. While it is a toughy, especially from the tips, it brings out a carnal instinct in me to play it again because I know that with my new knowledge I can improve my score. The course was in great shape with its bent tees, greens and fairways nicely manicured. The pro indicated that they just lowered the length of the rough, which made a great improvement. Service was also great in the shop. Leave your driver at home and have some fun.

Beech Hollow Golf Course -- Rating of Beech Hollow Golf Course
Review by: Jack Almy Beech Hollow is a fine course to golf, but the roughs are to high. This makes it harder to find a ball and slows up play by looking for your ball. Since this is a pulic course, alot of use pressure is on the putting greens. When it it time for league play to start later on in the day the greens are rough to putt on. Overall, this course is very nice to play. This course should put together a yardage book that they could sell to tell the golfers what yardage is left to the green from different locations for each fairway.
