Salt Pond Golf Course, The -- Beautiful Morning
Review by: Ben Hollinger This course is absolutely beautiful. I enjoy playing here for two reasons. This course is challenging enough for the scratch golfer, yet loads of fun for the weekend hacker. Iím a married man with two young children, so finding time to golf is like finding time to build new pyramids in Egypt. The Salt Pond became my answer. I arrive early, play 18, and return back to the family before they even realize Iím gone. Itís a great short course. I recommend it to anyone.

De Anza Desert Country Club -- Guest review
Review by: John Nave I have been a repeat guest at De Anza and have played the course about 3 dozen times over the past 10 years. With beautiful fairways, the course meanders through the residential area offering challenging play through now very mature trees. The course has been in outstanding condition every time I have played, with well-groomed tees and greens, the only matter the occasional damage from flash floods that hit the course every couple of years (but attended to immediately). Food at the clubhouse is outstanding, the social events well-planned and the staff very personable as one would expect from a private club. One observation...there exist no incentives for new membership, little off-season golf packages while this club has stiff competition in Borrego Valley with several terrific golf courses. A very enjoyable course to play at a club I actually would like to join, but will have to invest wisely in the future in order to do so with current pricing.
