Lane Creek Golf Club -- *great course*
Review by: Jon Cougar M.	I have lived in Athens for 6 years and have played many golf courses in the area. Lane Creek has been one of my favorites. Its a great place for tournaments and daily play, The staff is welcoming and the course is always in good shape.

Review by: Anonymous	Nice layout. Great cart paths. Played after a holiday. Course needed mowing. Greens were in sad shape. Reasonable rates but not worth the long drive. Would hesitate to reccommend. Not crowded so it could be a good place to learn to play.

Lane Creek Golf Club -- *Course needs work*
Review by: Larry Cook	Course is going down. * Greens in bad shape, * bunkers around the greens, had very little sand. more like waste areas than bunkers. * fairway grass needs work. too high in spots. * needs patrols/marshal. Person in group in front of us was giving a golf lesson, while we waited to tee off. Course managment was not friendly. I would even go as far as to say they were rude. Played this course over 100 times since early 90's when it opened. Hated to see this happen. I won't be back, neither will my friends and family.
