Featured Golf Course Review:
Meadowlands Country Club -- horrible
Review by: Anonymous the course is in bad condition. the board members are spending more time making up stupid rules such as, no hats facing backward and in order to take a cart to the ange you have to sign in and get a key. in my opinion if your planning on joining dont!

Wanango Country Club -- serenity in the allegheny foothills
Review by: michael savard this beautifully designed course (tillinhast and ross) offers a challenging but fair round of golf. nestled in the foothills of the allegheny mountains nature surrounds you on every hole (no development can be seen from the course - just a few oil derricks that are remnants of the region's famous past). the greens were smooth and fast for the springtime. the elevated tee on number 7 affords a view of northwestern pennsylvania beauty. the 570 yard par 5 18th is a challenge for most any golfer to reach in 2. #15 and #16 have tiered greens that can cause headaches. the 123 yard par 3 5th hole is short yet beautiful and the 160 yard par 3 10th with its elevated green is a unique way to start the back 9. all in all, the course was an extraordinary example of how nature and the game of golf can coexist in harmony.
