Course was founded in 1906 , a true Gentlemens Country Club on the banks of the neched River and borders the Big Thicket National Park, so bring your camera.
Rare Black Swans roam the course at will and are ill tempered.
Multi-tiered greens reward you for hitting to the right level of the green. Many undulations make for Augusta type putting opportunities.
Very challenging championship course with low amount of play. Excellent for business/golf meetings and/or a quiet round with family and friends.
Years ago a ledgendary match occured with “the Big Four”, Ben Hogan, Jimmy Demaret, Byron Nelson, and Sam Snead.
Ya never know which Country Western Music star you may run into.Beaumont is the hometown of George Jones,Clay Walker,Mark Chesnut and Tracy Byrd.BTW Vince Gill was there a Month ago. RedSox star Kevin Milar is also a regular and usually has a few MLB friends in tow.
