Ocean County Golf Course at Forge Pond -- Well maintained, fun course
Review by: Robert Duncraft I played this course in late fall. I was not sure what to expect from this executive course. Not long after teeing off I realized it was not going to be easy to score low. This is a tough course. Tight, with small greens. I was also surprised at how well the course was maintained. I have played on courses throughout the US and this course is one of the best deals I have seen. Dont pass this one up.

Francis Byrne Golf Course -- Good test of your golf game
Review by: Ted Straub This course is a fair test for the average golfer. There are no par real par fives on the course. The 1st hole is 460 and can be reached in two. It plays as a par five but is realy a long par four. If you want to play the course at its best play from the back tees. It is still under 6700 yards and the added distance from the back tees is negligible. The 15th hole is the toughest hole and NO Ben Hogan did not take a twelve on the hole. Mr. Hogan proclaimed it to be one of his favorite golf holes. The greens are very playable just play less break than you see. Overall maintainance is good and the course is in good shape considering all the play it gets but the county could return some of the greens fees to the course for improvements. CASH ONLY, no credit or debit cards. I always enjoy playing this course.
