Atlantic Golf Club -- Bring a lot of balls
Review by: Monte Very exclusive, very well maintained. I played on a beautiful summer Sunday, and there were about 4 groups on the course (one of which consisted of Nick Price). The greens are like glass and if you're not in the fairway, or first cut, chances are you wont find your ball. To me, the course is almost identical to Shinnecock.

Stafford Country Club -- A Walter Travis gem
Review by: Ed Homsey Walter Travis was at his best in his layout of the Stafford CC course. In his routing of the layout, he made maximum use of the rolling terrain. The course sustains the interest of golfers at all skill levels. The small greens are a challenge to hit in regulation, with the original Travis greens requiring a high degree of accuracy and a keen eye for the subtle, and not so subtle breaks. Many of the original Travis bunkers have been restored, increasing the demand for accuracy from the tee as well as shots to the green. Travis once said, "My courses always look easier than they are." Stafford has lulled many golfers into that initial perception. One never tires of trying to understand, and master its subtle and intriguing challenges.
