Raritan Valley Country Club -- *A great afternoon of golf.*
Review by: Paul Givens	Though I am not a member of this club, I have had the pleasure to play it three times. I am looking forward to my fourth time soon. It is a great old course modernized and updated. Wonderful for amatures.

Green Knoll Golf Course -- *good course*
Review by: Dave	Green knoll is a challenging golf course for any advid golfer. Although after rain it tends to fill with mud and water it is a very nice gold course. This course just might be a little too much for first time golfers. The staff at Green Knoll do have the tendancy to be well lets say not very nice, or inviting.

Green Knoll Golf Course -- *Great Course For A High Handicap*
Review by: Michael Delia	The course is well cared for; the staff is attentive and knowledgeable. The course itself is well groomed with very fast beautifully kept greens. The fairways are generous and the rough is trimmed to a height that has even less than perfect shots hittable. There is a fine practice green but no driving range. More people walk the course than use carts, so the atmosphere is as relaxed as it gets on a New Jersey public course. The score card has great hole by hole pro tips that guide you through the course.

Royal Oak Resort & Golf Club
"More for Less"
Royal Oak is hidden gem. It offers more golf for less money than any other course in the area. This Dick Wilson designed track has elevation changes and terrain not found on many Florida courses. Sadly, it needs an influx of cash to add to its rating. The two biggest problems that I see are the lack of sand in the bunkers and the club house in need of renovation. You will find the course a great value and the staff congenial.

Sandpiper Golf & Country Club
"A nice short course"
I have played this golf course for the last 10 years, 2 to 5 times each year at various time, usually in the winter. Sandpiper is a short course with plenty of par 3's and short par 4's. The layout makes for a slow round on the front side on a busy day. It usually opens up on the back, which is the better 9 holes. Greens are in good condition year round. Course gets more play in the winter when the ajoining retirement community is fully occupied. Long hitters have no advantage as any long drive (250 or more) puts you too close to the greens. Use irons and 4 woods off most of the tees. Any drive 200 yards down the middle is great for this course. Some holes feel too close to the homes. Can be a real challenge when windy.

Chaparral Country Club
"Basic golf outing"
In Bullhead City, the wind usually blows hard. This course is short, albeit somewhat challenging, because of the conditions played in. The fairways are unremarkable, the greens putt mostly true, although is tough to read. Usually putt the straight line and on the hard side to get them in. You won't need driver too often. Better than a kick in the head, but not the best golf around. Good practice.
