Chippanee Golf Club -- First impressions
Review by: Don Harmon I found this course to be in immaculate condition. The greens are small and on the hard side making them interesting.Extremely friendly staff made me feel comfortable and welcome.

Great River Golf Club -- Great River Update
Review by: Joe France Last week I played Great River for the first time in over a year, and boy have things inproved! Last time I was at this course, the play was slow, conditions were a little "iffy" with bear spots and the greens were just ok. Well, a lot has changed in Milford! First, the management changed the course so that what had been number 10 (a challenging uphill heavily bunkered par 3)is now number 1. The back nine is now the front, and according to the marshalls, reversing the order saves about a half hour in playing time. For our three ball match that was correct. We played on a Wednesday afternoon, with a moderately busy course, in under 4.5 hours. Not bad. We really didn't have to wait much at all. Conditions were excellent: the greens and fairways were in good shape, except for the pretty much expected (these days) failure of some inconsiderate players to repair ball marks or to rake out bunkers. Totally inconsiderate players. Anyway, we really, really liked GR. A very demanding but worthwhile golf experience. Hope they keep up the good work. Can't wait to go back.
