Country Club of Bristol -- *Course has been update*
Review by: Tony Fleenor	The Country Club of Bristol was completely redesigned about 4 years ago and now has Zoysia fairways with a slightly modified layout. It is easily one of the top courses in East Tennessee/SW Virginia.

Steel Creek Golf Course -- *worth the views alone*
Review by: J Ragan	Steele Creek is a small 9 hole course that is worth the scenery alone. I wish it were 18 the setting is so lovely. The people there are very friendly. I play this course several times a week and enjoy it immensley. As for the review from "foursum" maybe he should learn to spell first. I have been on this course when people were ejected for extreme slow play or destruction of property or some other foul behavior. I appreciated the way this was handled by the management. Management tries to be accomadating to all groups or individuals. Maybe "foursum" should have let some people "play through" and that would have solved his problem. Great course.

Marshallia Ranch Golf Course
"Marshallia Rocks"
This is one tough but, neat course. Carved out of the hills surrounding Vandenberg AFB, the layout is challenging and scenic. Play in the fall and winter for the best weather, because spring and summer can be very cool and windy. Each hole rewards a decent shot, but plucks out your heart if your shot runs errant. Ice plant gives a new meaning to the word, rough. Here's a putting tip, 90% of the putts break toward the high hills to the south, though you will swear it can't be. The course is usually in terrific condition and the Clubhouse very accomodating. Green fees, equipment and food are more than reasonable when compared to nearby courses. This is one gem all golfers must experience.

Where is the water? it is only on one hole, and it is not in play. You could hit a 9 iron over it. Short, but tight track. well kept, with a few good holes. only a couple stupid holes.

Desert Dunes Golf Course
"Awesome Links Course"
This course is a hidden gem in the desert. The holes are all long and narrow, the greens are always in fantastic shape (except in July and August but it is a 110 degrees anyway). Watch out for desert rabbits, they are everywhere. The course might be a little to windy from June through September.
