Wile vacationing last summer on the coast of Maine, I was lucky enough to play this fine course. The conditions were immaculate; the greens rolled true, the fairways were striped out, and the rough was just high enough to cause some problems.
The entire staff was very knowlegable, and friendly.
My "home" course is Torrey Pines, and while Brunswick may not have the ocean vistas, or daunting length, I rank it as one of my favorite courses to play. |

We played this track on a beautiful, breezy day. The wind kept us honest and the greens gave us fits. Not a tough course, but one than can bite a first-timer like me. The holes range in quality from 'boring' to 'wow'. #4, along the ocean, was the best part of the day. Along the ocean, with tough shots from tee to green.
Greens were deceptive in their speed and undulation. The course was in good shape and is worth the trip. |
