I travel to Springfield twice a year from Nashville TN, once in the late fall early winter, once during the summer to visit the in-laws. I now look forward to the trip because of Silo Ridge Golf & County Club. This hidden jewel is very well maintained, and will challenge the scratch golfer and entice the 20+ handy capper. The opening nine is very forgiving; allowing amble time to hone your skills for the more demanding inward nine. Once your score card is full, then I recommend trying out the best cheese burger and fries I have every tasted in the club house grill. The course and the staff are first rate; well worth the price and the drive. |
