I happened to be stationed at Fort Carson for 2 weeks and managed to play the front 9 five times and whole 18 twice. There are some particularly beautiful holes on the front 9 that face Cheyanne Mountain, lots of slopes and wide open fairways. the back nine has a couple of challenging par 5's, especially #11 which is nearly 600 ft and goes around a swampy little pond in a u shape. there are a couple of holes that are on top of a hill as well as a couple that tee off a hill. All in all, aside from the rocky roughs, this was an excellent course! |
